Mannarasala Sree Nagaraja Temple at Haripad is the most famous serpent temple in Kerala, set in a forest grove with thousands of snake images. Uniquely, it is led by a priestess (Amma). It is sought especially by couples praying for children.

Dress code
Traditional attire. Men: mundu (bare-chested in the sanctum where required). Women: saree, set-mundu or salwar.

Only Hindus are permitted inside the sanctum. Photography is prohibited inside the temple.
